Ensim: What is the Ensim Administration Control Panel?
The control panel allows you to manage your domain.
You can:
- Set up security features for an entire domain or just an individual Web site.
- Manage the user accounts on an entire domain or just an individual Web site.
- Set up protected directories on the Apache Web server.
- Set up your domain email and FTP features.
- Work with the directories and files on your domain.
- Back up data from your domain.

In your web browser, enter your domain followed by /admin

Using an FTP client you can connect to your domain. Your FTP hostname will be ftp.yourdomain.com
The username will be your administration username @ your domain.
example: admin@yourdomain.com

Connect with your FTP client to 67.15.78.82

Once connected via FTP you will be presented with 2 shortcuts. HTML files are put into "mainwebsite_html". If you are not presented with shortcuts the complete path is /var/www/html If you are onfiguring Dreamweaver for FTP access the path is /var/www/html ^top^ Email: How do I access web mail (SquirrelMail)?
Squirrelmail for users on your domain is accessible by entering the following URL into your browser: http://www.yourdomain.com/squirrelmail

What is my Incoming mail server?
Your incoming POP3/IMAP server is mail.<yourdomain> . ^top^
What is my Outgoing mail server?
We do not offer outgoing mailserver access at this time. Please use your ISP's outgoing mailserver. ^top^
Webstats: How do I access my Urchin webstats?
You can access your webstats here: http://ensim.datacore.ca:8080 or use the Account Login Page.
Username and passwords will have been provided to you when your account was opened. If you require a password reset please contact support. ^top^ MySQL Database: How do I manage MySQL database?
You can access your database by using PHPMyAdmin.
PHPMyAdmin is easily accessible using the Ensim control panel.
Login to your site control panel then click "Configure MySQL Database / phpMyAdmin". Before using phpMyAdmin for the first time you will have to change the default password. Click on "Change MySQL Password" and change your password. Once you have changed your password you can click on "MySQL Administration Tool". ^top^ |
